Milos: A 3-Day Full Guide
๐ A Cycladic dream that deserves your full attention๐
You’re booking Mykonos again? Bold of you to skip this beauty. Let me show you what you're missing and help you not mess it up ๐
We spent 3 days in Milos, and here’s the full breakdown of what we did with juicy tips, sunset secrets, and food spots you’ll wanna screenshot ๐๐
๐️ Getting around
Don’t even think of relying on taxis here. ATVs are your golden ticket — especially for those off-beat beaches.
We booked with Nicki Motors (Plaka) the day we arrived: €35/day, smooth process, they delivered the ATVs to our place and picked them up after.
๐ Tip: Book in advance in peak season. And always choose ATVs over cars — way easier to access the remote beaches!
☀️ DAY 1
Start your day with a stroll or coffee at Palaios Coffee & Pastry, then…
๐Sarakiniko – Moon-like rocks and that iconic view. Go early!
๐Firopotamos – Tranquil water, fisherman charm
๐Plaka Castle for sunset – Trust me, you’ll want to stay till the last light
๐ดDinner? You’re by the sea, so go for Astakas or Medusa — seafood magic with a view. Book in advance to save your spot!
⛵️ DAY 2 – Boat Day
Yes, a half-day boat tour is enough to cover the dreamy coastline.
Your 2 best options:
✨ Thalassitra Sailing
A romantic wooden boat, includes breakfast, lunch, dessert + open drinks
๐ฐ€80 (we paid €60 pp as a group of 3 by negotiating last-minute!)
๐Book online or at their agency in Adamantas (at least 2 days ahead)
⚠️Tip: Get there early to grab comfy seats!
✨ Captain Yiangos – (+30 6944375799)
Whole-day tour for €50 (no food), sails from Adamantas between 9:30-10AM. Great vibes, solid route.
๐️ Beaches covered:
-
Kleftiko – iconic white rock formations & caves (a must!)
-
Gerakas Beach – crystal-clear waters & white sand
-
Tsigrado – stunning, secluded cove
-
Firligos – dreamy turquoise waters
-
Sykia Cave (from outside) – a sea cave with a collapsed roof, often viewed from the boat
๐กExtra tip: Only banks exchange currency — and they’re closed on weekends. Keep extra cash on you ๐ธ
And yep, extra sunscreen is a non-negotiable.
๐ดPost-boat lunch or dinner? Head to O! Hamos! for the best traditional Greek dishes.
๐ DAY 3 – South Coast beach-hop
๐Tsigrado – Climb down the rope ladder (worth it!)
๐Firiplaka – Long colorful beach, lots of space
๐Paleochori – Beach bars + volcanic heat under your feet
๐ดDinner rec: Mikros Apoplous (think seafood with a twist and international flavors)
๐จEnd it sweet: Aggeliki is the spot for ice cream and desserts.
๐ Sunset hotspots (save these):
-
Plaka Castle – 360° views, it is the most famous spot! Arrive 30 min early to grab a good spot.
-
Sarakiniko – Unreal golden glow on white rock. Go early for fewer crowds.
-
Firopotamos – Peaceful and glowing
-
Mandrakia – Postcard material. Less touristy & super dreamy with boats floating under pink skies.
-
Klima Village – Colorful fisherman houses at golden hour.
Milos, you really gave main character energy.
Save this blog and come back to thank me later ๐งฟ๐✨
Yours sincerely,
Noelle
